This Privacy Policy explains how BlueWhyte Software Solutions ("we," "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data through BlueConnect, in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. What We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, business email address, phone number, and organization details provided during signup.
  • Messaging Data: Message content and metadata sent and received via WhatsApp through BlueConnect on behalf of client businesses.
  • End-Customer Contacts: Contact information of customer recipients processed strictly under business instructions as a data processor.
  • Payment Details: Billing metadata and transaction logs processed securely via Razorpay (we do not store full payment card details).

2. How We Use Data

We process data to operate the messaging platform, route WhatsApp messages, provide technical support, manage prepaid billing wallets, and maintain legal compliance.

3. Consent & DPDP Act Compliance

Where BlueConnect is utilized to send promotional or transactional messages to end-customers, purpose-specific consent management is enforced in compliance with the DPDP Act guidelines.

4. Data Sharing & Processors

We share data with Meta/WhatsApp (to deliver messages) and Razorpay (to process billing transactions). We do not sell personal data to third parties.

5. Data Retention

Messages and interaction logs are retained according to account configuration defaults (e.g., messages retained up to 24 months, webhook payloads up to 60 days) or until account termination.

6. Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act, data principals hold the right to access, correct, and request erasure of personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at privacy@blueconnect.co.in.

7. Data Security

We employ industry-standard security safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, AES encryption at rest, strict access controls, and segmented media storage.
